The Wild Rivers Mushroom Festival has become one of the best mushroom events in the Pacific Northwest, so now’s the time to make your plans to attend on November 4-5, 2023. And, as our popularity grows, that means expanding to TWO VENUES in Brookings, Oregon this year!
The main festival hall – housing the huge mushroom display, the ID experts, the mushroom vendors, and the food and drink – will once again be at Salmon Run Event Center (99040 South Bank Chetco River Road, approximately 10 minutes up-river).
Meanwhile, the lectures and workshops are moving into town, to the Chetco Grange Community Center (97895 Shopping Center Avenue, just south of the Chetco River Bridge). Once again, we will have Pacific Coast Trolley on hand to help ferry folks between the main festival at Salmon Run and the lecture hall at the Chetco Grange. It’s also an easy 15-minute drive between venues…
General admission this year is $5.00 for adults, with kids 12 and under free to attend (and that price covers one or both days). The cost of each lecture or workshop will be $20.00; hikes will once again be $10.00. (PLUS, the first lecture, workshop or hike ticket you purchase will include the $5.00 general admission.) Tickets for the lectures, workshops AND identification hikes are on sale now at: https://buytickets.at/wildriversmushroomfestival/971411
