CIDER ON SUNDAY FESTIVAL

October 13 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Save the date for the upcoming Cider on Sunday festival at Chetco Valley Museum, as we bring the enchanting flavors of fall to life! 
APPLE PRESSING – Step back in time and witness how Cider was made during “Pioneer times.” Bring up to 10 gallons of apples and 1 or 2 clean gallon jugs (minimum $5 donation). The experience of pressing apples the old-fashioned way will be unforgettable!
APPLE PIE BAKING CONTEST – Calling all bakers! Show off your skills in our Apple Pie Baking Contest. We have TWO divisions: Youth (up to 18 yrs.) and Adult (19 yrs +).  PRIZES await the top 3 picks in each division! Please have your delicious pies at the Chetco Valley Museum Annex by 2:15 for judging. Afterward, we’ll be selling slices with ice cream – a treat you won’t want to miss!
BAKE SALE – Take home some scrumptious goodies from our bake sale and try your luck at the RAFFLE TUB! You might win some delightful surprises while supporting our local history preservation efforts.
LIVE MUSIC & HOT APPLE FRITTERS – What’s a festival without music and yummy treats? We’ve got you covered! Live music will fill the air with joyful tunes, and we’ll be making hot apple fritters right on the spot – a perfect combination!
